5-Day Itinerary Tips
- Never fly within 18 hours of diving. Be careful with diving the day before your departure
- With 5 days, you have a buffer day for typhoons or if you need rest
- Miyako day trip requires round-trip flights — LCC fares start around 5,000 yen one way
- 5-day rental car packages offer significant discounts; book early for even better rates
- Having a dive certification (C-card) opens up far more fun diving options
- Back-to-back ocean days are physically demanding — pace yourself with rest days
