Area Overview

Northern Okinawa is an area where pristine nature remains largely untouched. Centered around the Motobu Peninsula, it encompasses the area around Ocean Expo Park (famous for Churaumi Aquarium), Nago City, and the northern part of Onna Village. Compared to the central area, there are fewer tourists, allowing you to enjoy marine activities in a more relaxed setting. Boat tours to Minna Island and Sesoko Island offer snorkeling and diving in astonishingly clear waters. Combining the natural wilderness of Yanbaru with ocean activities makes for an exceptional travel itinerary.
